Black Oak is known from ancient times as one of nature’s materials, but it is not a wood species you can find in the forests. This makes it both interesting and exclusive - and also adds a touch of mystery. In brief, bog oak is formed when oak logs lie for hundreds of years in a bog. This starts a process that gives the wood a very special dark shade. Junckers recreates this process by vacuum fuming the board

JUNCKERS - Nordic White Plus Oak Variation
Oak is a hardwood species characterised by having a very interesting grain structure. The wood species is exceptionally hard-wearing and therefore very suitable for flooring. White toned by using the colour Nordic White Plus, a pure and Scandinavian touch is added to the floor. The black neoprene strip placed between the boards adds a maritime look to the floor.

Beech is one of Europe’s most common hardwood species with characteristics of excellent durability and amazing structure. The gorgeous red and brown grain pattern provides a classic appearance. Harmony grade gives the board a natural look with more colour and great graining variation between the individual staves. Medium-sized knots and natural fine splits are there to some degree.

Beech (Fagus Sylvatica L.) is one of Europe’s widespread hardwood species spreading from Norway to Spain. The strength properties of the wood in combination with a uniform structure with yellowish white to reddish sapwood and the red-brown grain pattern provides a light and classic floor.
